Penetrating Sealer
SEALER 444 is a water based acrylic sealer which forms a tough, durable, slip resistant coating. SEALER 444 will prevent spills, dirt, and moisture from getting into the stone. SEALER 444 inhibits fading or discoloration while protecting from UV rays. SEALER 444 releases no toxic fumes and is safe and easy to use when being applied in enclosed areas.
SEALER 444 will generally provide mild color enhancement, with a glossy finish. The level of gloss will depend on how porous the stone is, and the number of coats applied.
SEALER 444 excels on Mexican Saltillo tile and is also very effective on Spanish or Brazilian tile, wire cut brick pavers, travertine, terrazzo, rough stone, marble pavers, and exposed aggregates. Also suitable for slate, quarry tile, clay pavers, concrete, concrete pavers, and exposed aggregates.

SURFACES WHERE SEALER 444 EXCELS:
High Traffic Areas: SEALER 444 provides a tough and durable barrier to protect high traffic areas from dirt, spills, and stains.
Very Porous Surfaces: Porous surfaces absorb stains very easily. SEALER 444’s protective coating inhibits absorption by porous material.
Outdoor Surfaces: SEALER 444 excels against the constant threats faced by outdoor surfaces. SEALER 444 protects from the effects of weathering, rain, and UV damage.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Always be sure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any dirt, grease, oil, wax, or other contaminants. Read the entire label before using. Use only as directed. Always test on a small piece of material or a small inconspicuous area to determine suitability. Ensure the area is well ventilated. Ideal surface temperature should be between 60°F and 80°F. Product works best when it is the first substance applied to the surface, insuring proper penetration.
COVERAGE:
For very porous surfaces: 1st coat: 100-200 sq. ft./gallon. 2nd coat 250-400 sq. ft./gallon.
For average density surfaces: 1st coat: 200-300 sq. ft./gallon. 2nd coat 400-500 sq. ft./gallon.
For very dense surfaces: 1000 sq. ft./gallon.
APPLICATION:
FOR TILE, PAVER, OR BRICK : SEALER 444 may be applied with spray applicator, brush, roller, or lint free rag. Apply liberally with a heavy first coat. Avoid puddles by spreading excess. Second coat can be applied 6-12 hours after the first coat, or when the white appearance has subsided.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
CAUTION: Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Handling: Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Keep container closed and tightly sealed when not in use. Conditions for safe storage: Keep in tightly closed, properly labeled containers. Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place.
