MAGIC: Water Repellent & Protector
MAGIC is a deep penetrating, siloxane water repellent which produces a transparent protective barrier across the surface of a stone. MAGIC fills the pores and capillaries of the stone, and forms an invisible, vapor permeable membrane across the surface. This coating repels moisture from the surface while allowing the stone to breathe. MAGIC has no visible film, and leaves surfaces looking natural with no change in appearance.
MAGIC inhibits mold, mildew, and efflorescence, as well as damage caused by the constant absorption and evaporation of water from the stone. MAGIC penetrates immediately, deeply, and effectively, providing a long lasting protective barrier.
For use on Brick, Brick Pavers, Unglazed Ceramic Tile, Clay Tiles, European Clay Pavers, Concrete, Concrete Pavers, Grout Joints, Saltillo Tiles, Travertine, Marble, Granite, Terrazzo, Shell Stone, Limestone, or any stone surface when a natural look is desired. SURFACE PREPARATION:
Always be sure the surface is clean, dry, and free from any dirt, grease, oil, wax, or other contaminants. Read the entire label before using. Use only as directed. Always test on a small piece of material or a small inconspicuous area to determine suitability. Ensure the area is well ventilated. Ideal surface temperature should be between 60°F and 80°F. Product works best when it is the first substance applied to the surface, insuring proper penetration.
COVERAGE:
For very porous surfaces: 1st coat: 100-200 sq. ft./gallon. 2nd coat 250-400 sq. ft./gallon.
For average density surfaces: 1st coat: 200-300 sq. ft./gallon. 2nd coat 400-500 sq. ft./gallon.
For very dense surfaces: 1000 sq. ft./gallon.
APPLICATION:
MAGIC is a very easy product to use. Because it does not alter the appearance of a stone’s surface, there is no risk of an uneven finish. After application, if you see an area where moisture is still absorbing into the stone, you can re-apply more sealer to those areas. High traffic areas can be spot treated as necessary.
FOR TILE, PAVER, OR BRICK : MAGIC may be applied with spray applicator, brush, roller, or lint free rag. Apply liberally with a heavy first coat. Avoid puddles by spreading excess. Second coat can be applied 15 minutes after the first coat. Product cures in 24 hours.
FOR COUNTERTOPS: MAGIC may be applied with brush, roller, or lint free rag. Spread across surface liberally. Whatever hasn’t soaked into the countertop after 15 minutes should be wiped up. MAGIC cures completely in 24 hours
FOR SEALING GROUT JOINTS: Apply to joint with small brush or squeeze bottle. Allow to soak 10-15 mins. Wipe off excess from tile surface. Do not leave voids and puddles. MAGIC cures completely in 24 hours. High traffic areas can easily be spot treated when required because MAGIC does not build up or alter the appearance of the surface.
STORAGE AND HANDLING
CAUTION: Highly flammable & combustible liquid and vapor. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Handling: Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not breathe vapors or mists. Keep container closed and tightly sealed when not in use. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Take measures to prevent the buildup of electrostatic charge. Conditions for safe storage: Keep in tightly closed, properly labeled containers. Keep in a cool, well-ventilated place. Materials to avoid: Do not store with the following product types: Strong oxidizing agents, Explosives, Gases.
